Love Is Like a Flower

Love is like a flower, when nurtured it
will blossom. When a woman's lips & heart
touch mine its ecstasy for I am in love.
Our love is our bond & our bond is
eternal. The flower in my heart is
blooming with every passing breath,
For she has brought me out of the dark
& into the light & given me purpose.
For that I will protect you with my life
as long as my flower lives.
